 is an independent designer who has become an expert in guiding (undeveloped) stories and developing strong concepts. I believe that every design can reveal a unique story and should reinforce it to achieve the desired goal. With my work, I aim to exceed expectations. This requires extraordinary stories and courageous clients. Together, we can harvest admiration for the power of narratives.

About


Anouk (The Netherlands, 1984) imagined herself being a writer when she was a kid. Pictured joining NASA as a teenager. Being an archaeologist was also something that she envisioned. Then realising that there’s an occupation that rewarded you just for imagining, picturing and envisioning. Perfect.
    
    Today I’m an independent designer who has a range of different clients all with their own story to tell. My roll goes from being the designer to art director from editor to photographer and sometimes by just asking the right questions. My practice is interwoven with the role as an educator in which I focuse on creating conditions that support the intersection of teaching, learning, and research across and in between disciplines. I’m committed to nurturing nondominant and experimental approaches to practice and research.
